Deterioration and damage are mitigated through procedures such as the maintenance of appropriate and stable environmental conditions, integrated pest management, storage in secure archival enclosures, implementation of proper handling guidelines, and, when appropriate, reformatting or duplication.

NAC provides custom-made archival housing, encapsulation, and preservation mounting/matting/framing for your objects, as well as detailed outlines for best handling and storage practices.
